Edmonton real estate market continuous to deliver strong numbers through the Multiple Listing Service®. There were 1535 homes sold in October of 2009, which is 22.7 percent higher compared to 1251 sales of last year. Single detached homes were selling on average for 363,694, 2.2 percent lower than in September (which is a normal trend at this time of the year) and condos for 237,601, 3.2 percent lower.

We have seen another month decrease in inventory which stood at 5530 homes for sale, 8.3% less than September and 35% less than October of 2008.
